AL – Verify Sales Tax Number

AL has a way to verify customer sales tax numbers to do your due diligence in granting exemptions to your customers. See this bulletin regarding a recent AL ruling where a judge says that since AL has a verification site now, retailers will be held to higher standards in the future.
This is the website where you can check on your customers license status. (Note: You may have to have an on-line account with AL to access this page).

Be prepared to indication the type of tax your customer is registered for (Sales/Sellers Use/Direct Pay, etc.)

This may not be the best place to ask this, but I’d like to find out if I can have a higher priced rental and I can’t figure out how to find a good, local property management firm… have you ever heard of this company? They’re located in Sacramento, CA 15 minutes from me and I can’t find reviews on them – LGL Properties, 4635 Freeport Blvd Sacramento, CA 95822.
